The High School Security Upgrades, Auditorium Re-Roof and Administration Addition were collectively constructed as the sixth project of the Cushing ISD Bond Program. CoxJones worked with the Owner and Architect through the bond process and the design process to prioritize their projects within the bond issuance amount. Alternates were proposed based on the Owner’s “wish list” and the savings realized on the project are being used to fulfill those wishes. The district was able to add almost $90,000 in additional renovations at the high school to the original scope of work.
A 10,000 square-foot addition allowed the administrative offices to expand and create a reception area, offices, teacher workrooms, a lounge and kitchenette, and record storage. Previous administration space was renovated into new classrooms. This project also included two new front entrance facades which tie the new administration to the high school.
