This project involved the historic renovation of a ca. 1830 wood frame house as well as the new construction of a visitor’s center. Working with the Historic Sites Manager for the City of Nacogdoches, CoxJones researched period building methods and construction materials to maintain the authenticity of this historic building. Preservation and attention to detail were crucial factors in the successful completion of this unique project.
