Multi-Phased Construction and Emergency Repairs
Since 1995, CoxJones has provided construction support for multiple locations of Tyson Foods operations in the East Texas region on more than 560 individual jobs. Typical projects include road and truck scale repairs, chemical containment pits, rendering plant and process room concrete foundations, wastewater treatment basins, and freezer room repairs that require special materials and equipment to cure concrete in below freezing conditions. There are unique instances of emergency procedures due to major malfunctions within the plant. In 2013, a large freight haul elevator was compromised causing significant structural damage to the elevator shaft and surrounding building and causing costly delays in plant operations. CoxJones mobilized crews and brought in specialty equipment to secure the staff and facility and then to repair the damages.
